Introducing my 2015 Blog Project: 365 Days of Kindness

Hello lovelies! I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Jackson and I spent time with our parents and siblings over the holiday and it was fantastic. Much turkey was consumed and good times were had by all. I managed to fall head over heels in love with the holidays this year and I'm a little bit sad that they were over so soon.

So today is the day. I’m thrilled to let you all in on the blog project I've been working on for 2015! The project is called 365 Days of Kindness, and over the coming days I will explain just how it came about and what it is that I hope to accomplish. For now I will leave you with an overview of what the next year will look like for

The Goal

Perform at least one act of kindness, generosity, or service each day in 2015 (and blog about it).

The Why

To contribute positively to the communities I am a part of and to practice being a helper in those communities.

To discover what effect consistently thinking outside of myself for a year has on my life.

To challenge myself to stick to a project for an entire year and be creative in my approach to it.

The Rules

I must perform at least one act of kindness, generosity, or service each day in 2015.

Each act must be posted on this blog accompanied by the date it took place; multiple acts may be posted at once rather than on a daily basis.

Acts of kindness towards myself do not count (although they are encouraged).

I may perform the same act multiple times throughout the year, but must make an effort to vary them.

So there you have it! I would love to hear your thoughts on my new endeavor in the comments, and any suggestions you have for acts of kindness I could perform throughout the year would be most welcome. Tomorrow I'll share a bit more about how this project came to be, but for now I will leave you with this:
