#365DaysOfKindness Days 60-66: Auctions, Etc.

Has it been a week already? I don't know where the time goes these days. I do know that I am loving my new job, that it is starting to feel like spring, and that sneaking kindnesses into my day just keeps getting easier and easier!

Here's how this week shook out:

Day 60: Social media planning for my volunteer gig (my favourite thing!).

Day 61: Sent a thank you note to Katie from Honey Beejoux, who donated an item to an online auction fundraiser I had a small role in facilitating. You guys, I freaking love sending thank you notes. They're the best! And the necklace she donated is just beautiful. Check it out:

Day 62: Hand delivered the aforementioned auction item to the person who purchased it.

Day 63: More social media planning for my volunteer gig (love it).

Day 64: Went to a fundraiser for the Winnipeg FoodShare Co-op and spent the first hour selling silent auction & raffle tickets. Got excited and purchased an unreasonable amount of tickets for myself as well. Didn't win anything. Had a great time. Not even mad.

Day 65: Purchased tickets for next week's Spay-ghetti Dinner fundraiser for Craig St. Cats. Super excited for this, you guys! Tickets are still available, so you should probably check it out.

Day 66: Jackson and I went grocery shopping this morning, so I pulled my usual move of purchasing a few extra items (dried soup fixings and pasta) and donating them to the food bank. It's such an easy thing to do, and now that I'm in the habit of doing so I never forget to add a few things to my cart for the food bank. I highly recommend doing this if you are looking for a simple way to do some good!

So that was my week. It was a good one. How was yours?
